Today, we get yet another song, but this time it's only Ms. Houston singing the classic church tune "His Eyes Is On The Sparrow". The track will be featured on the movie's soundtrack and of course, we will see Whitney perform it in the film. Give it a listen below.
Whitney pulled out some big vocals for this song. She sounded great! Clearly, it does not sound like something she would have recorded in the 90's, but it's a damn good effort. People get on my nerve when they compare her voice to what it sounded like in the beginning of her career. Everyone's voices go though changes.
Mariah can't "Carey" a tune like she used to. Beyoncé use to pop out high notes but now, she only uses her lower register in a lot of songs. So what, it happens to the best. Clearly Whitney was definitely the best, and she was a fighter. Voice, or no voice she did the damn thing and gave it her all. That's why this song is so powerful. She was reclaiming her throne. What did you think about the song?
