Omarion Asked To Leave Young Money For A Better Offer / by

Last night rumors were flying all across twitter nation saying that Omarion was dropped from Lil Wayne's "Young Money" label, following a tweet from a label associate saying "Omarion is no longer Young Money ... the song they leaked ft. Wayne is not official .. good luck 2 him in his future." Well, today Omarion has released a statement on big brother, Marques Houston's, official blog stating that he wasn't dropped and that he asked to be released from the label. Check it out below..

“I have a lot of respect and admiration for the genius of Lil ‘Wayne and the entire Young Money family. I asked to be released from the label to pursue other opportunities that were recently presented to me.

Because of our relationship, Lil’ Wayne had no issue with us ending our business relationship and released me from the label. Lil’ Wayne and I have nothing but love for each other, there is no Beef.

I also wanted to make it clear that my company nor did I, leak the song, “I Get It In” and I want to dispel any rumors that have surfaced.

I appreciate my relationship with Young Money/ Cash Money and look forward to doing business in the future.

There will be a major announcement regarding my career and my new album, “Ollusion” coming next week. Stay tuned…” –Omarion

If there's not an announcement next week about an official label HOME for Omarion, then in my opinion, he was DROPPED from Young Money. Unless he works hard and try to get signed to another label within this next week. This seems kind of fishy to me. Well, I'm sure we'll hear from Lil Wayne pretty soon and he'll speak on what went down. Maybe Omarion really was offered better opportunities from else where. Who knows. All I know is that he was previously signed to Epic Records, he was then dropped. Then was supposed to sign with Timbaland, that never happened, then comes Young Money, which is no longer apart of. Tsk Tsk Tsk..Things went from BAD to WORSE for him. Good Luck O!
