It has been confirmed that Whitney Houston is scheduled give a special performance on ABC's "Good Morning America" & an interview on the release date of her album, which is Monday, Aug. 31st. BUT there's a catch. Peep it below..

As for Whitney Houston, a special performance on ABC's Good Morning America has been confirmed in addition to a sitdown with ABC and a special release date of Monday, August 31 for "I Look To You".

Whitney Houston will not be singing live during in performance on ABC’s Good Morning America next month because “she is not a morning person.”

Ms. Whitney will visit GMA to promote her first album in seven years, I Look To You, but instead of singing live, the singer’s performance will be pre-taped the day before.

“Lots of singers don’t like to perform at 7:30 in the morning,” a GMA production insider tells The NY Post.

While less established stars would be forced to perform live, Houston is such an industry icon that the producers would deny her wishes.

Well, you go head Whitney. If you're not a morning person, then by all means, PRE-TAPE it. Who in the hell is up at 7:30am ANYWAY. Hell, I know I'm not! LOL! But this is good news for Whitney, I hope she doesn't let me down like Mariah did...tsk tsk..
