Country superstar Taylor Swift has announced that she will be releasing her new album called "Speak Now" on October 25th. It will be the follow up to her multi platinum selling album "Fearless" which won her a ton of awards and the best selling album of 2009. Taylor shared the news on her ustream account and also revealed that her new single "Mine" will hit the radio stations around mid August. Check out the video below.

"I didn't have any co-writers, and it didn't really happen on purpose," she explained. "I'd get my best ideas at 3 am in Arkansas when I didn't have any co-writers around, so I would just finish it." Swift said the same thing happened in New York, Boston and Nashville. "It just so happened that the songs that made the cut on the album were the ones I wrote myself, so, wish me luck!" she laughed.
The 21-year-old singer/songwriter co-produced "Speak Now" with longtime collaborator Nathan Chapman, who worked with her on "Fearless" and her 2006 self-titled debut.
As for "Mine," Swift said the song is about "my tendency to run from love...Every really direct example of love that I've had in front of me has ended in goodbye and has ended in breakups and things like that. So I think I've developed this pattern of sort of running away when it comes time to fall in love. This song is sort of about finding the exception to that."
I just feel so sorry for everyone who is planning on releasing an album in October (Ciara, Kelly Rowland + others) because if it happens on the same date as Taylor's, she will definitely outshine them all. Hopefully Kelly's album will come out in EARLY October. It's good to see that she wrote every song on her album ALL BY HERSELF. That's pretty impressive. I think I'm going to jock Taylor this time around because I've never really paid attention to her in the past or even when she as winning all of the awards for "Fearless" I wasn't there from the beginning so I didn't want to jump on her bandwagon then. So, now since there is a new album due this fall and a new single this summer, I'm all for it.
