Last year, the cast of 'Glee' was under hot water for posing in an adult magazine. Parents threw the stars under the bus for their raunchy photos and felt that their actions were inappropriate for kids. Now, Lea Michele is facing the same criticism, once again, for her cover of 'Cosmopolitan' magazine, with parents saying that she is showing too much cleavage. The magazine giant defended their cover star by issuing this statement below.
I agree with the magazine company. Why should she be limited to what she can do? She's a grown woman, this magazine is for adults, as well as G.Q. Children shouldn't be reading those magazines anyway. IF they are then the issue is with the parents. This cover isn't even raunchy not one bit. Women on everyday commercials are showing more than this, so what's the big deal? These are the parents of children that will make their kids turn out to be sluts and what not. They will find out what a cleavage is one day. Don't hold them back for too long.
Cosmopolitan magazine is defending a sexy cover mage of Lea Michele, in which the "Glee" star bares considerable cleavage.
After some parents fumed it was inappropriate, Hearst released a statement to Fox, "We're thrilled to feature Lea Michele on the March cover of Cosmopolitan magazine and think she looks stunning. Michele is a grown woman and Cosmopolitan is a magazine is for adults."
