Lil Kim AXED From Monica's New Single / by

Monica & Missy Elliott are said to be fuming after leaning that Lil Kim was AXED from Monica's official lead single "Anything (To Find You)" which originally featured Lil Kim & Rick Ross. But as the song made it's premiere on the radio just days ago and debuting at number 71 on Billboard's R&B Chart, Lil Kim was no where to be found on the song or in it's credits. Why? Find out after the break.

Word has it that it was all the work of Notorious B.I.G.'s mother Volleta Wallace. According to J Records, Lil Kim was cut  Kim was cut from the Notorious B.I.G. sampled track due to "contractual issues." Those contractual issues were that of Volleta not approving Lil Kim to rap and sample a Biggie line in the song. She said it was a no go. If it happened she was gonna sue. and things weren't gonna be pretty. After Monica learned what the issues were, she took to twitter. Check her tweets below.

"I am just finding out what has happened to my single and myself & Missy are beyond hurt that @LilKim was removed. She’s our friend, a legend & @LilKim will get the respect she deserves at all cost. The clearance was revoked & I’m fighting to get it reinstated by the Biggie Estate."

"We respect all parties involved & were gonna do WHATEVER to keep the song as is because @lilKim the bizness on the record. I am as thorough as they come and I LOVE @LilKim bottom line is Ms Wallace has the final say and she said No. If we put it out we get SUED. "

Monica tried to get Kim back on the track, but it just wasn't happening. It looks as if that bad blood between Volleta and Kim has yet to grow thin. I mean, I don't blame her. You can't use nor sample one's music or lyrics without anyone permission. She's pretty much recycling material. Not good. Good to know that Monica tried.
