In a new interview, the U.K. singer was asked about duets and features on previous and future albums. She revealed that a lot of her influences are deceased with the legendary Etta James being the latest. She said if she had to pick a singer that's alive and kicking, it would be Beyoncé. Check out the article below.
Although Adele has never officially duet-ted with anyone, she gave a good reason as to why: “Most of my inspirations are old music and sadly they have all died. I always wanted to do a duet with Etta James, but sadly she passed.”However, if it were down to which living artists she would collaborate with there was just one woman for the job.“I probably would take Beyoncé. So yea, for living [artists], Beyoncé. I’ve been listing to her since I was 11, I adore her,” she says. SOURCE
That is like digging for pennies and finding diamonds for Beyoncé. So I'm sure it's safe to say that a Beyoncé and Adele collaboration will most definitely be in the works for their next projects. We saw Beyoncé jump the gun with Lady Gaga when she was on top of the world selling millions of albums, so why not do the same with Adele? Her career is kind of stalling since the release of "4". She hasn't had a song chart the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 since the "I Am...Sasha Fierce" album. Baby Blue Ivy is the reason why she's still in the news and on blogs. Long story short, Adele could be the golden ticket that Beyoncé's career needs to get the train moving again. Watch it happen.
