Well earlier today, the actor sat down with The Breakfast Club and expressed his feelings about the situation. He stated that he would love to return to the show for a 6th season, but they would have to be willing to let him work on his new HBO show as well. Check out the article below.
SOURCE:Pooch Hall said he'd be willing to work with BET so that he can return to "The Game."BET announced last month that neither Pooch nor Tia Mowry would be back for another season of the hit sitcom, but the network never really explained what was behind the abrupt oust. Rather, the network hinted that Pooch would be too busy working on his upcoming Showtime series "Ray Donovan" to keep up with production on "The Game."Pooch told "The Breakfast Club" that he wouldn't mind talking to BET about bringing him back for another season, but they've got to let him work on "Ray Donovan" too. For what its worth, the network has stated that it would like to see Tia return as well.So what's keeping BET from making this happen? "I can't say what's going on with BET, but Pooch Hall is ready," Pooch freestyled (did we forget to mention that he's rapping now?).Reportedly, the network has already started looking for replacements, but it's not impossible for the stars of "The Game" to work on more than one project at a time. Coby Bell was also doing "Burn Notice" while shooting episodes for this season. Similarly, Tia was also shooting her reality show "Tia & Tamera" and did a couple of TV movies as well.Pooch seems confident that the situation will right itself, and he believes that fans will see him on "The Game" next season. “I’m just going to tell the fans [to] have faith. It’s being worked out," he said. "I want to come back and don’t be surprised if I do come back.”But back to the bit about Pooch rapping, he's setting his sights on modeling his career after The Fresh Prince! "I want to be up there with the Will Smiths," he said.
They better let that man return! I said that the show will see a ratings dip since he and Tia woudln't no longer be on the show. Unless the cast popular faces. But if Pooch wants to come back, I don't see why not. Why won't the network let him return and why was he let go in the first place? Let him spread his wings. He wants to do HBO then let him. I don't see an issue with it. He wants to do both, so let him!
