Ciara Performs "Sorry" In South Africa / by

With the release of her single "Sorry", Ciara has begun it's promotion...in South Africa that is. The singer took part in a concert in which she gave her first live performance of the single lifted from her upcoming album "One Woman Army".

She performed at the Maloof Money Cup 2012 Benefit and she also served as a guest judge for South African Idols. She sang her heart out. Check out the performance after the break.

I have one question....why in the bloody hell is she over in South Africa performing? With all do respect, we need her to be performing and promoting shit on shit on this side of the pond. If your single was just released, you don't go to  no man's land and perform it where it will never be seen.

You go on someone's talk show and sing your heart out. There's Good Morning America, Good Day New York, The View, and all of the other talk shows that you watch in the morning. I know L.A. Reid can do better than that. This is the kind of shit that makes me worry about the album succeeding.

I understand that some promotion is better than no promotion but come on...Book her to promote it in America. We want to see her win this time around. As for the performance, it was pretty decent. She sounded great. I just don't understand how she was out of breath when she didn't dance. She does a better job singing when she's dancing all hard.

Within the next few weeks her second single should be hitting the radio airwaves and it's gonna be a dance filled one. So keep it locked.
