R&B Divas seems to be taking off in the right direction. The television series has a lot of followers and fans. The show revolves around women in the music industry who are trying to get their careers back on track. Along with the show comes an album which is lead by Faith Evans.
This track will be featured on the project as it hits stores tomorrow and it features Kelly Price and Fantasia. They put their spin and touching harmonies on the classic hit "True Colors" which was originally recorded by Cyndi Lauper. Give it a listen below.
You know what's funny about this song....the first time I heard "True Colors" was while I was watching the first season of "Glee". I feel in love with their version. SO of course I had to go and find ot who did the original and saw that it was Cyndi....don't be mad at me but I did like Glee's cover more.
Now, these R&B Divas have put their touching harmonizing vocals on it and I love it just as much as I loved Glee's version. Both of the versions focuses on great harmony, and I love a good harmonizing song. This is why I didn't too much care for the original becuase it's just Cyndi singing on it. But yes, I defintely love this cover!! They brought the soul into this record!! Get it Girls!!
