Beyoncé Scores HBO Airtime For New Documentary / by

Remember earlier in the year I reported that Beyoncé was teaming up with Oprah's "OWN" to launch a reality television show? Back in April, a source told me that cameras had been following Beyoncé's family and camp around to record footage for the reality show, but we were wrong, there were cameras but for a different reason.

The footage was for this new HBO Documentary that will air on Feb. 16th, 2013. It is set to be a very vulnerable and personal look into the life of Beyoncé; the person, not the entertainer. There is first person footage captured by B as well as raw footage from the productions camera crew. The set is schedule to air weeks after her massive Super Bowl performance.

“Everybody knows Beyoncé’s music, but few know Beyoncé the person,” said Michael Lombardo, president of HBO Programming. “Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman.”

Beyonce adds: “HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity,” said the singer in a statement. “Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home.”

The singer is expected to make a huge comeback next year with her upcoming album which is set to drop sometime next year. She's been in and out of the studio with the likes of Miguel, The Dream, Ne-Yo and more. So Bey on the look out, mama is coming to snatch wigs and take names because these other bitches are pressed.

Are my sources great or what?!
