Last year, Rita Ora made her mark in music over seas. The singer had three consecutive #1 singles on Billboard's U.K. chart and was pushing for a 4th with the release of "Shine Ya Light". Her album "Ora" was a pretty good one and she's ready to unleash in to make her make in the U.S.
The starlet spoke to MTV News about the upcoming project and shared that it will be something new to the U.S. and will have a few surprise features from the ROC Nation family. She kind of confused bloggers on whether this will be a brand spanking new album or a re-release. Check out the interview below.
Based on that, I will simply say that this album will be a re-release. It's sort of weird, because I think that she will record a few new tracks and add it to the re-release packaging of "Ora" to sell it in the U.K. but in the U.S. it wouldn't be considered a re-release because we never had the first one to begin with.
Needless to say, I think it's awesome. I love her, and I love her music! I can't wait to hear the new songs! I tried to buy that album a few months ago and people looked at me sideways like I was asking for their blood or something.
