"THE GAME'S" RATINGS TAKE A HUGE DROP; BRING BACK MELANIE & DERWIN / by

At the end of the day, numbers rule and from the looks of it, the BET television show "The Game"' suffered a heavy blow with the premiere of it's 6th season. The two-part premiere drew in only 2.5 million viewers. That's a 52% drop from last years 5.3 million and even lower than the 2011 BET launch of 7.7 million.

Clearly it's due to the departure of Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Pooch Hall. They both were given the boot for unknown reasons but Pooch managed to sign on and give his character, Derwin, a proper ending. Tia however has yet to talk about why she left. Fans were and still are upset about it. The replacements Jay Ellis and Lauren London aren't cutting it.

I think it's safe to say that this will be the 6th and finals season of The Game, unless they bring back Melanie and Derwin. I've been watching the show since it's UPN and CW days and I was highly pissed at the mum departures, but I wanted to see what this season would look like...and it doesn't look too promising. Your thoughts?
