Last night saw the second episode of R&B Divas LA air on TVOne. The show centers around Claudette Ortiz, Chante Moore, Lil Mo, Dawn Robinson, Michel'le and Kelly Price. In this episode, the ladies gather to celebrate Chante's birthday while feasting on a platter of sea food and other scrumptious things.
While there Kelly invites the women to share their most deepest and personal stories through monologue for a musical showcase. Also, Chante invites the women to a live video taping of her performing a song for her church. Secrets are revealed in this one, but still nothing juicy as of yet. Check out the episode below.

You know, I don't really like Kelly Price in the show. I don't know if its her, or if the producers are making her out to be the ring leader. She's like the boss, the mediator of everything. To go with that, show it's self just seem forced and scripted...with the exception of a few stores like Chante's Claudette's which happens to my favorites.
I don't know, maybe as the season progresses, the light will start to shine and the scripted feel will be gone? I hope, because when I watch it, I just feel like blah. Some parts of this episode felt real, like hearing them talk about their past, losing their virginity, and abusive relationships...we need more of that, plus drama...well I do!
