It's been decades since we heard new music from Christina Milian. The singer has been on hitus for quite some time now. She was working on a new album called "Zipper" when she was with The-Dream. They were married, had a baby, divoreced and then some and since music had been scrapped.
Now the singer signed to Young Money records and this is one of the tracks that she's crafted since joining the team. The song is called "Encore" and it's a mainstream, pop/dance track. She's targeting the mainstream audience , not so much the urban listeners. Check it out below.
It's catchy, I kind of like it. I don't know why it puts me in the mind of Carely Ray Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe". I think it just has that natural pop feel to it. What do you think about the song?
