Keyshia Cole Slapped With $162,000 Tax Lien By The IRS / by

It's tax season and the IRS is out to play. We've seen our share of celebrities get slapped with tax liens by the IRS for not paying or reporting taxes from the income that was generated of the years. Keyshia Cole now joins that list.

After a year of down playing a few of the girls from Destiny's Child, it seems that her nose should have been else where. The singer was smacked with a tax lien of $162K for not paying taxes in 2009. It looks like she needs to get back into BET's good graces or drop an album to fix this. Peep the report below.

Radar Online reports:
According to a lien filed in Georgia on November 25, last year, the federal government claims Cole failed to pay taxes in 2009 – and owes a total of $162,158.93 to the IRS!
In 2009, Cole embarked on her very first headlining tour, A Different Me Tour, that featured opening acts TLCLil Kim and The-Dream, but the government appears the 32-year-old signer still hasn’t paid taxes on that profitable year.
The IRS notes on the lien that they will seize her property if she doesn’t pay off the debt.
“We have made a demand for payment of this liability, but it remains unpaid,” the documents state.
“Therefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of the taxes and additional penalties, interest and costs that may accrue.”

That right there, is a lot of money...sucks to be her.
